It appears that just as with gravity are electricity there are rules that define how to feel and flow with the unified field, putting it to work for you. One example of how living in alignment with universal laws can serve you appeared to me on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
Months before the day in question at a birthday dinner I met a person who asked if I would be willing to support a community center fundraiser by acting as their auctioneer. After three glasses of wine this sounded fine and I said sure. As the date approached there were several other things that sounded fun for that Sunday and I looks for a way out of the commitment, but found none. Then the nerves kicked in, why did I agree to this? What made me think I was qualified to run an auction? My inner-critic ego was assuring me this would be a disaster and an embarrassment in front of the town mayor and other local dignitaries. Fortunately I had the power of policy on my side and set out to watching every auction TV show and reading about auction techniques online. The event went well and we raised several thousand dollars for a worthy cause, then some insight about how the cosmic wifi works came like a rock out of blue sky. The auction was over and I felt like a million bucks. I had sacrificed what I thought I wanted to do that day for a good cause and felt in love with the world, and felt the world was in love with me. Flowing with this energy I went to the store, bought a bunch of food and dragged the bar-b-que out to a local park where friends were playing around. With a big smile I laughed, cooked and gave out a meal to friends and random passers by. Mind you this behavior is out-of-character but something was different. I had selflessly accomplished something, the unified field was rewarding me with a glow of contentment rarely felt. As cliché as it sounds it seems one of the properties of this universal energy is the to give is to get. To help and give unto others is to receive unto thy self. Putting out effort, participating to accomplish worthy things for yourself and others tunes in and turns on the noble energy in life.
